I finished this book in two days, I couldn't put it down. It's a powerful tale about 13 year old Lakshmi, sold by her step-father into sex slavery. You follow Lakshmi from Nepal to India and into her new life, the friends and discoveries she makes along the way.
I really liked the way the book was written. It's a reminder to be thankful for our good fortunes.
